Large file cleanup helps you find quick opportunities to free up space. It works well for Downloads, video folders, archives, and old project directories.

Select a location and size

Choose the folder you want to scan. You can also set a minimum size so smaller files do not distract from the results.

Scanning a focused folder is usually faster and easier to review than scanning an entire disk.

Filter the results

Use the file type filters to focus on videos, audio, images, documents, archives, installers, or other files. Sort by size to see the largest items first.

MangoDisk shows the file location and modification time alongside its size. These details can help you distinguish a current project from an old download.

Open or remove a file

Open the containing folder when you need more context. If a file belongs to another application or project, check that it is no longer needed before deleting it.

Select the files you want to remove and review the combined size before confirming.
