Disk Space Analysis
Use MangoDisk treemap and list views to explore disk or folder usage, find large directories, and open or permanently delete items

When a disk is nearly full, Disk Space Analysis shows which folders are using the space so you can start with the largest areas.
Choose a location
Select a local disk, a recent folder, or another folder. A focused location finishes faster, while a full-disk analysis gives you a broader view.
The operating system can restrict some folders. MangoDisk displays only content it can read and may prompt you for access when a protected location is involved.
Use the treemap
The Treemap uses area to represent file and folder size. Larger tiles use more space. Smaller items are grouped together, with the complete details available in the list.
Select a folder to move down one level. The toolbar lets you go back, go forward, or return to the starting location.
Use the list
The List shows name, size, file count, and last modified time. Sort the columns to compare items in the current folder more precisely.
Both views can show an item in the system file manager. After finding a folder with large downloads, media, or project files, use Large File Cleanup for more focused filtering.
Permanently delete an item
Disk Space Analysis can delete a file or folder directly. MangoDisk asks for confirmation, then removes the item permanently without moving it to the system Trash or Recycle Bin.
A large folder is not automatically safe to delete. Check app data, photo libraries, and project folders carefully and keep a backup of anything important.
