Disk space analysis gives you a folder-by-folder view of storage usage. Use it when the disk is full but you do not yet know which area deserves attention.
Start from a useful location
Choose a disk or folder, then start the analysis. A focused location finishes faster, while a full disk provides a broader picture.
MangoDisk must be able to read a folder to include it in the result. Your operating system may ask for permission when protected locations are involved.
Follow the largest folders
Begin with the folders using the most space and move deeper one level at a time. This approach helps reveal large downloads, media libraries, archives, and application data.
The analysis describes space usage; it does not automatically mark files for deletion.
Clean with the right tool
When you find a folder that needs attention, open it in the file manager or scan it with Large file cleanup. Use Deep cleanup for caches and application-generated clutter.
